Replacement Windows & Doors
At Ultrawarm our priority is home security and this is evident in the quality of the locking mechanisms that we offer as a standard. There are no upgrades or optional extras available we offer the very best and latest technology as a basic standard.
Some of our standard security features include a minimum of 4 point locking including shootbolts on all windows and as standard there are hinge guards fitted to every UPVC window to prevent the hinge being jemmied.
Our PVC and composite doors are fitted with up to 9 point locking and as standard hinge bolts are fitted to all doors. We also insist on anti-bump, anti-drill door cylinders to be fitted to all our doors.
Our Upvc windows and doors are glazed as standard with our energy efficient Pilkington S1 double glazing offering a U Value of 1.0. We are one of the few companies who glaze all our products with toughened glass, while this is for safety in some instances such as low windows and doors, we mainly fit this a deterrent to prevent smash and grab burglaries where the intruder can simply smash the glass and grab car keys or a purse.
